Contests & Prizes


 Wheeling SleepOut has two separate contest types. One is a fundraising competition among individuals and teams. The other contest is the Boxed-In Design Contest.

Please note: Whether you sleep in a tent, enter the box contest, or just come for the entertainment:

 There is a $25/per person event entry fee. Raising $25 gets you in free.

The top individual fundraiser will receive a
$1,000 travel voucher
from UNIGLOBE Ohio Valley Travel

The cutoff for donations to count towards the grand prizes is 4:00pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017. All donations collected MUST be turned in and entered online prior to that time. The grand prize winner will be determined at that time and announced at the Wheeling SleepOut.

For awarding the grand prize, each participant is treated as an individual fund raiser, including participants on teams. Therefore, if you are on a team, be sure your sponsor donates to you online, not the general team donation. This donation also counts towards the overall team total. Any general team donation amounts are split equally among all team members when determining the grand prize winner. Inadvertent general team donations cannot later be reapplied to an individual.

Individual Fundraising Drawing

Individuals raising $50 will receive free SleepOut event entry, a free SleepOut t-shirt and an entry to a prize drawing. For each additional $50 raised, individuals will receive an additional prize drawing entry. For example, if you raise $100, you receive free entry, t-shirt and 2 prize drawing entries.
